| Dextrose | Provides calf with needed energy, allows for faster absorption of electrolytes and water and improves flavor. |
| Electrolytes | Reverses dehydration, improves fluid absorption, aids in the correction of metabolic acidoisis. |
| Vitamins | Helps build the immune system and appetite, aids in restoring and maintaining the stomach wall. |
| Dietary Fibers | Helps protect stomach surface, improves fluid levels, and removes toxins. |
Prevention:
Mix 1 heaping scoop (1 oz/scoop) of Gelytes per 2 quarts of warm water or milk replacer. Feed once a day per calf.
Moderate Need:
Mix 2 heaping scoops of Gelytes per 2 quarts of warm water or milk replacer. Feed twice a day per calf.
Severe Need:
Day 1: Mix 2 heaping scoops of Gelytes per 2 quarts of warm water. Feed three times a day per calf.
Day 2: Feed according to moderate need above.
Day 3: Feed according to prevention level above.
* Always follow feeding directions on the tag of your product. These feeding directions are for Esmilco products only. Milk replacer feeding levels are a guide only. The feeder determines the actual amount fed, depending on the calf size and condition.
